Catalyte says hello Chicago, continues national expansion
Baltimore’s Catalyte is opening a new software development center in Chicago, as it moves forward with national expansion plans. This expansion comes just a few months after the software engineering services company raised a $27 million Series A funding round and acquired another software firm, Surge. The acquisition increased Catalyte’s geographical presence — Surge has offices in Baltimore, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Sacramento, California — and its workforce of software engineers.
Catalyte brings skills-based hiring to Chicago with the opening of its Chicago development center. Congratulations to Jacob Hsu and team for furthering their mission to expand economic opportunities to more people by providing pathways to join the knowledge economy–Marlon Nichols, Cross Culture VC co-founder
