Portfolio news! Gogo has made a strategic investment in Farcast to accelerate next generation satellite user terminals for aviation.
Farcast is developing compact flat panel antennas that reduce size, weight, power and cost while increasing bandwidth. The platform enables multi band and multi orbit inflight connectivity for business, military and government aircraft.
The investment will support production of new antennas that improve cabin connectivity, expand reach across more aircraft types, and deliver a stronger value proposition for Gogo customers. Farcast is now moving toward a production ramp in 2026 with full scale manufacturing planned for 2027.
