USC ATHENA: Building a Strong Community of Women

Cross Culture Ventures’  Suzy Ryoo led the programming for the inaugural women’s entrepreneurship summit at USC’s Marshall School of Business. The groundbreaking event, entitled ATHENA, featured CCV family members Angela Sutherland (founder and CEO of Yumi) and Morgan Simon (Managing Partner at Candide Group, and a CCV LP). ATHENA was a full day featuring the stories of female leaders as an initiative to inspire attendees to help achieve parity in the workplace, as well as further support this year’s social movements dominating media around workplace culture (including the Women’s March and #MeToo).  Read the article.
